So we all knew this would happen, but it's still almost shocking how close to obscene this is.

I drew this for the Lithi and then it kind of worked even though I'm not sure what's going on here....

I am clean for the first time since I got out of the car at Springmill. Which we totally drove up and down 37 like three times both ways from Bedford to... that other little town before figuring out that we weren't going far enough. Again BTW, Shanny said it was past that one town, and we didn't believe her because the maps we had were all wrong, but she was so right.

We totally rocked the camping scene though. There was nobody around 'cause it was fricking Tuesday, which was nice (we did get all paranoid each time someone drove by, and got chattery about, "They better not be right next to us etc etc"). Also good because we totally sort of took over the two campsites either side of us. Eheheh.

Highlights:
Chocolate milk was the best idea we had on the camping trip.
Card games! Miraki kept winning Garbage, and Shanny took the Go Fish cake. I... was winning at War, but we never finished the game. ^^;;
Finding out that watercolor pencils are the fricking most perfect medium for drawing bruising evar. Mmmn.
Totally got the fire going without kindling.
Hobo ("Homo," thank you Miraki) dinners (I still feel bad that I burned yours~ T.T I'm so sorry!! D: ).
Crazy s'mores with very broken graham crackers. Oops.
Inked the first of the "Two of Us" half-chibi pictures!
Roleplaying! In the dark. Totally killed my back hunching over that sketchbook. But it was totally a great way to spend the night. Especially when paired with
Coloring books!! <3 Hello Kitty has never looked so fabulous.
Sao is much better at cooking with a stove of any sort than a fire. Managed to get together tea, coffee, and eggs, though we forgot to bring the sausage we'd bought. D:

See, I don't think I actually like any of the written-about vampires enough to actually want them biting me, once I actually think about it.

If I had to choose a particular series' vampires... I still wouldn't be able to. I used to have an obsession with the ones in "In the Forests of the Night," though. Those were pretty good.
On the other hand, some of mine I like quite a bit. I'd definitely rather be bitten under my own interpretation of the whole vampire thing. Or the True Blood brand. They're a good balance of vampire power/weaknesses.

And I have to agree with Livali here.
Lithi can break the skin if he wants. <3
I won't like it like Chlorine does but hot damn. I can take it.


PS, My music has nothing to do with this but the title is hilariously applicable. XD

So I had a dream that I had a sex-change operation last night.
It was... interesting.
And I was afraid to look, and I woke up before I ever got up the courage to.
And I spent half the dream wondering if I had been taking testosterone before the operation and wondering if I should have.
And I know that in the dream, I had been seriously wanting the operation previously, but at the point when I was getting it spent the entire time kind of feeling ambivalent about it, but I was stuck with it so I was like, "Whatever, cool, even though I won't really have working sexparts but hey I still get to keep my boobs."

...It was a weird dream.

A massive 14 by 17" sketchbook.
40-some colors of oil pastels.
A new set of size 3 knitting needles to go with the beautiful silvery-grey bamboo/silk yarn Rei-chan bought me in Asheville! <3

Celebrated the first two by drawing random eyes in the sketchbook in pastel. Have come to the conclusion that my technique requires about ten million improvement points, but... That's the point!
Celebrated the second by starting a project to wind the yarn into a useable ball. Have discovered why those machines that hold the yarn out in its circle are very important, because those hanks seem to be somehow wound into the most impossible to untangle twistie bits evar.

Put in two job applications today! Now I just need to email or call financial and advising about the whole not-going-back-to-college this year thing. Also must call Miraki about getting together and calling apartment places. Yes. Because otherwise we are not going to have anywhere to live.

Umn... well, then I got hungry and made a sandwich, which I have now eaten, and so must return to finish untangling that hell-yarn so I can make lacy armsocks, and nab my pencils so I can draw proper Lithi to start new massive sketchbook with a bang. ^.~

Well apparently there's this guy who's being kind of annoying in Livali's classes. (My first instinct is to call him much worse things, but that's the Gaian chatterbox whore in me finally coming out.)

So um, I got dressed up all pretty today and made some... I dunno what to call them. Instructional macros? >3
